2. What types of organizations do you work with?
The ideal customer is anyone who does not have a dedicated full time maintenance technician on staff. We even help with managed aircraft.
When you are talking about maintenance, you just can’t beat having someone whose only job is to make sure things are done in your best interest, whether each month or for that one major inspection.
The right client is anyone who relates to an experience I had a few days ago. I brought my car in to the shop for about $900 worth of work and had no clue whether I should really be looking at a $700 estimate or if $900 was fair. I have a nice relationship with the mechanic, but we aren’t best friends by any stretch. Now if someone I trusted were a mechanic and had come to me and said “pay me X and not only will I probably save you that amount, but more importantly you’ll know you got the right price, everything that should’ve been done was done, and I’ll field any “additional work” requests that come in once they start.
I would’ve signed him up immediately. Even if he didn’t save me a dime, it would be nice to know the $900 I spent was exactly what I should’ve spent and that I won’t be back in the shop two weeks later for something that should’ve been fixed the first time. Magnify the numbers and potential delays by about 50 or 100 and you’ve got the equivalent in aviation.
